British Institutes, Mosques & Associations Awards (BIMA)

Mosques, institutions, organisations, projects, schools etc play pivotal and essential roles in contributing to enriching the social, spiritual, intellectual, economic fabric and infrastructure of our British society. Muslims, with their various mosques and institutions, are contributing and enriching our British society every day.

Whether it be providing spiritual needs of the society, educational provisions, social and charitable services, projects in the private and public sector, these are integral pillars and requisites of the UK civic life. As citizens of UK it is our duty to improve these institutions, however it is equally important to celebrate the milestones and the invaluable & instrumental contributions of Muslim institutes, mosques and association to society as a whole.

Aims of the BIMA Awards

To celebrate the work of British Mosques and Institutions

To showcase positive projects and Institutions within the British society and their support to
create a better, inclusive and tolerant society for all

To work in-partnership with various organisations and community projects to improve their
services and provisions

Objectives

To organise an annual celebrations event/dinner.

To establish a website where the contributions of British Institutes, Mosques & Associations are showcased..

To establish a diverse, competent and credible judging panel.
